Meatballs and Potatoes – Chalkelehs

Sauté one large sliced onion, green pepper too, if you like, in vegetable oil until translucent.
Meanwhile, mix 1 pound extra lean ground sirloin with one egg, breadcrumbs (or oatmeal) to hold together, some (salt) and pepper , onion powder, garlic powder if you like.

Roll meatballs and place on top of sautéed onion. Cover thickly with Heinz ketchup and pour in about one cup of water. Bring to boil and simmer about ten minutes.
While simmering, (peel) & quarter potatoes, about four russets. Place them into simmering meatballs, stir gently, add tiny amount water if needed to cover, bring to boil again and simmer couple hours till done.
