Apple Crisp

9×13 pyrex – Bake 350 oven – Bake 1 hour or until brown on top

8 Apples peeled and sliced ( Gravenstein or other tart apple )

Mix:
1 Tbsp flour
1/4 tsp cardamom
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
Toss with apples
Sprinkle juice of one lemon on apples

Topping:

Mix:
1 cup oats
1 cup flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 chop sliced almonds
2/3 cup melted butter

Press onto top of apples. Pierce after 30 min to see if apples are soft and to let juices come to top.
