2 cups flour
¾ Teaspoon baking powder
¾ teaspoon salt
3 eggs slightly beaten

Mix and sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add eggs. Knead 10 times. Roll out on floured wax paper to ¼ inch thick. Paint tops with oil. Rub sugar lightly over top.

Cut into squares or rectangles. Bake on lightly greased and floured cookie sheet for 12 minutes at 400 degrees or 30 minutes at 350 degrees until lightly browned. Turn onto clean towel to cool.
