2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 tsp almond extract
½ gallon softened vanilla ice cream
Chopped toasted almonds
Maraschino cherries
Fold chocolate chips and almond extract into softened ice cream.
Spoon into paper cups and sprinkle with chopped toasted almonds if desired.
Freeze until firm.
Each serving is garnished with a maraschino cherry.
Variation:
Use Chocolate ice cream
Add 1 tsp. peppermint extract
Or use Mint chocolate chips
