Cabbage Soup (Borsht)

Debbie (Kulman) Lawson

1 lb lean stew meat
2 big heads of cabbage
2 large cans diced tomatoes
pepper and sour salt to taste

 

 

 

 

 

Do not cook meat first.  Throw everything together in a large pot.  Tasting to get the right sweet and sour flavor.

Add cabbage gradually until it shrinks.  Cook 2 hrs.
