When  we moved to Breckenridge Colorado, we joined the Synagogue of the Summit.  Synagogue of the Summit has over 180 families.  Break the fast was held in a home.  I brought my mother’s herring.  This is the original copy I wrote in the 1960’s.  I have passed this recipe on since them.  It will be in the SOS cook book.
